Financial Instruments to Enable the Clean Energy Transition

SMARTSPEND Access to Risk Finance Conference will take place online on Wednesday, 30 September 2020. The project consortium decided on Thursday 28 May to organise two differente events: and online conference in 2020 and a physical event in 2021.  

You will find below the content of the conference, which the consortium intends to maintain. However, the format will change given the new online character of the conference. What to expect?

The Access to Risk Finance Conference will be a unique opportunity for energy researchers, industry representatives, private financing providers and policymakers to exchange views about how to finance efficiently the clean energy transition.

Around 150 energy stakeholders will have the opportunity to:

• Learn more about European Union’s funding and financing offer for clean energy projects through presentations from EU officials about InvestEU; regional funding and the Innovation Fund.
• Discuss how to coordinate more efficiently funding for clean energy through discussions gathering industry, researchers, private finance providers and policy-makers. 
• Meet both energy projects developers and finance providers during a match-making session.
